Siblings of a Different Species
Every time Zander hang out on Dancer’s new “dog bed” and every time Dancer walks over her new “dog bed” to hang out on Zander’s mini-trampoline, I am reminded that Zander and Dancer are a lot like siblings:
They covet (and command) each other’s toys. They sometimes tussle over toy (with Dancer usually giving up the toy in question, like one of Zander’s socks). They play. They comfort each other.
That’s one reason I like this photo. It reminds me that the bond between them is much more than “service.” It’s love.
