‘Heeling’ with Mary Kay
One of the trainer-experts Love Heels relies on most is Mary Kay Snyder of Unleashed Potential K9 San Diego (formerly Pettiquette 101).
Once a month Mary Kay conducts advanced service dog trainings for an invited group of service dog teams. She is a master trainer who specializes in fine-tuning service teams and has been a valued member of the Love Heels program for many years.
Below are photos from her most recent class, working on the “mat” command to teach dogs to return to their mat and stay put. She also worked on some issues some of our dogs have on walks by strengthening their understanding of “heel.”
