Love Heels-trained therapy dog Punky (with her “dad” Preston) brightened the day for a patient at the Veterans Hospital in La Jolla last week.
If a patient desires to pet her, she hops atop their bed and patiently sits as they interact with her. Punky visits veterans there every other week.
Since Jetta (whose service training was sponsored by VW Kearney Mesa) joined Zev, the two have been inseparable.
